Five years ago, Transform Solar set out with a simple mission: make clean, reliable energy accessible while delivering real value to homeowners, businesses, and communities across Florida. Today, we’re proud to celebrate a milestone that reflects not just growth—but impact.
From residential rooftops to large-scale commercial installations, from a company rebrand to community-driven initiatives like the Co-Op’s organized by our partners at Solar United Neighbors (SUN), the past five years have been defined by innovation, trust, and results.
From Startup to Statewide Impact
While we formally began our journey with a commercial project, our early focus was primarily on residential installations, but it didn’t stay that way for long. As demand grew, so did we, expanding our commercial, municipal, and industrial reach across the entire state.
The rebrand was a big moment for us. It wasn’t just a new logo and redesigned website—it marked a shift from a young, family-owned, local operation to a validated and trusted player in the solar space state-wide. It reflected the growth we’d already stepped into and the kind of projects we were ready to take on. Bigger systems, broader capabilities, and a more complete approach to being an energy partner in an emerging market where quality was in high demand and low supply.
Leading the Way in Commercial Solar
Over the past five years, Transform Solar has delivered powerful results for businesses looking to reduce operating costs and gain energy independence.

These projects represent more than just greenwashed brands trying to quantify environmental impact. They’re proof that solar is a smart, scalable investment for organizations of every size.
Empowering Communities: Solar United Neighbors Co-Ops
One of our most impactful partnerships has been our multi-year involvement with Solar United Neighbors (SUN)—annual programs designed to bring people together and make solar more accessible to the community. Imagine approaching a solar company with 50 or even 100 of your neighbors and saying: “We all want solar—what can you offer us?” That’s exactly what a solar co-op does, and we’ve been honored to play our part in being a trusted local installation partner for the 2024 and 2025 campaigns in the Greater Tampa Bay Area.
Participants were able to benefit from:
Competitive, group-based pricing
Vendor-neutral education to make informed decisions
Ongoing support before and after installation
A collaborative selection process for choosing the best installer
A built-in community driving the clean energy movement
Programs like this don’t just install solar, they build momentum, create jobs, and put energy control back in the hands of the people.
SunRaising Partnership: Strengthening Communities Through Sustainable Solutions

At Transform Solar, we are proud to partner with the SunRaising Foundation to create meaningful, measurable impact by addressing critical global challenges through clean water access, food security, and sustainable community initiatives.
Together, we have expanded access to safe, reliable drinking water in underserved communities such as rural regions of Guatemala, where infrastructure improvements and filtration systems have significantly improved public health. Our collaboration also addresses food insecurity in vulnerable communities across the United States and Latin America by supporting meal programs, food banks, and community agriculture initiatives that provide both immediate relief and long-term stability. In advancing sustainable communities, we support innovative efforts like the Bags to Bedrolls program, which benefits individuals experiencing homelessness in cities across the U.S. by transforming recycled plastic into durable sleeping mats while reducing environmental waste. Additionally, our clean energy projects bring solar-powered solutions to off-grid communities, including areas in Haiti and East Africa, helping provide reliable electricity for homes, schools, and healthcare facilities.
By combining the SunRaising Foundation’s Philanthropy-as-a-Service model with our renewable energy expertise, we are driving scalable, lasting change in communities both locally and around the world.
Customer Success That Speaks for Itself
At the core of everything we do are the homeowners and businesses who trust us with helping them transition into their future of energy independence.
Take John Zahrt, for example. A two-time Transform Solar customer, John ended his 2025 utility cycle with over $200 in solar credits from Tampa Electric; enough electric bill credit to cover his $15.51 fixed customer charge for over 13 months!
Experiences like John’s are why we do what we do. It’s not just about installing solar panels, it’s about delivering real financial freedom, sustainable results, and long-term peace of mind.
The Next Chapter
Five years in, and we’re just getting started. As energy needs continue to evolve and technology keeps advancing, Transform Solar is focused on growing our commercial and municipal partnerships, staying involved in community-driven initiatives like solar co-ops, and continuing to deliver high-quality solar and battery solutions backed by real support long after the initial installation.
To our customers, partners, and community—thank you for trusting us and being part of what we’ve built. The next five years aren’t just about company growth, they’re about raising the standard for what going solar should look like.
